As a contribution to the inaugural Remake Learning Days: Kansas City, Inspired Aesthetics has been invited to create a chalk mural at Crown Center Square (where ice skating takes place in the winter). We are looking for amazing young people to get in on the action and help bring this mural to life.
This opportunity is:
Free to participate!
Open to all Kansas City area high school students!
Two ways to participate:
Artists and Design Team ( 4 - 6 hours virtual meetings before mural day)
Help generate ideas and design of overall mural
Opportunity to contribute original images to mural composition
Work with professional artists
Learn about the process of mural design and instillation
Help bring your design to life the day of
Day of Chalk Team (Minimum 2 hour commitment)
Help bring the design to life by coloring in the design the day of
Earn volunteer hours
IMPORTANT DATES:
Sunday April 4th - Application closes (for Design Team)
Monday April 26th - Sign up closes (for Chalk Team)
Saturday April 10th and Sunday April 11th - Virtual Design Workshop (Artists and Design Team)
Saturday April 24th - Virtual Workshop and Reveal (Artists and Design Team)
Saturday May 1st - Mural Instillation Day (Day of Chalk Team AND Artists and Design Team)
Sunday May 2nd will be added if needed
